Strategically located in the middle of the Moselle wine-producing region, Bernkastel boasts over 500 years of documented wine history. We went to this one the last time we were here too, but it has grown and they have much more stuff. We sat by the Mosel River to watch the fire works. To the left is some of the vinyards.

The fire works were to re-inact a battle. Not sure which one. But utimately, it was to blow up the castle. Right had side, you can see the castle.
	The display was an awesome show, and we have never seen anything like it. It was 20 mins. long and was very loud. Some of the fireworks looked like they were shooting off bombs.

then after the display was over, the castle just "burned" for a while. It was so cool!
