Liechtenstein Photos
This is not a very good picture.......sorry. This is the only place I could get the picture from was right underneath it. Anyways....this is where the Duke and his family live. If the flag is raised, that means he is home. If it is lowered, he is not......or doesn't want anyone to know he is home Ü This castle is open only once a year and you must be a resident of the country to visit. This is a very rich country. If you were to get an arial of this castle, it has beautiful mountains in the background.......the ones in the other photos.
This photo was taken down in the town of Malbun. It was such a beautiful place. There were people skiing everywhere. If you lived around here that is all you would do is ski. I saw a guy leave his house at the top of a hill on skis. He was carrying a duffel bag in one hand and a TV with a handle in the other hand. It was really funny. That is just how they get around......on skis!
This photo was taken at the top of one of the ski slopes in Malbun. You have to take the ski lift up to get there which is at the 2,000 meter high peak. This building is a resturaunt and the snow was very deep here.
This photo was taken from the top of the resturaunt in the above photo. If you look straight ahead in the middle of the photo, you can see the big blanket of fog. It looks like clouds. That valley there is the were the road is that we came up on.
This was about all of the houses that I saw there in Malbun. The rest of Malbun is like downtown with resturaunts and hotels. Very nice place!!
This place was so beautiful, that when I got home to tell everyone about it, I described it at beautiful blue sky, without any clouds! Well, when I got the pictures back...........somebody put clouds in them!!!
