Great food in a very cordial, friendly, family, Italian atmosphere.
Il Capriccio's specials of the day are particularly good as are their
other pasta dishes and pizza.
Directions: From Ramstein AB,
proceed into Ramstein village via Kindsbacherstraße to
Landstuhlerstraße to the village centre (near the Rathaus). Il
Capriccio is in the same buildingwith the Haus des Bürgers.

Excellent Italian food,
additionally, LaGrappa has a large selection of menu items-from
pasta, to salads, to meat dishes &ldots; all very tasty. The dining
room in the front of the restaurant is small but inviting. LaGrappa
also has a large banquet room in the rear of the building which is
perfect for an office luncheon (seats about 50-60 people).
Directions. Kindsbach is the
village between Einsiedlerhof and Landstuhl on B-40. From either
direction, Einsiedlerhof or Landstuhl, drive to the center of
Kindsbach, LaGrappa is on the main street (B-40) next to Pension
Schuff. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.

RESTORANTE PIZZERIA

Excellent Italian food,
reasonably priced. The pizza, garganzolla, pasta dishes, and
spaghetti are all good choices. For dessert the Tirami Su (a
chocolate cake/tort) is sinful but wonderful. Taormina is a family-operated
restaurant and has a large American military clientele.
Directions: From Ramstein
(West Gate) follow the signs to Landstuhl, at the stoplight (B40)
turn left and go (past the Esso Stations) to the next stoplight,
Taormina's is on the left at the stoplight
CANTINA MEXICANA

Cantina Mexicana is a
family-friendly, stateside-style Mexican restaurant and their Mexican
fare is excellent and so is their service. They have daily specials,
great salsa, and they have Green Chilis!

Directions: From Vogelweh go
west in the direction of Landstuhl on B-40 (Kaisersstrasse) to
KL-Einsiedlerhof. It is across the street from the Warrior
Preparation Center (WPC) building on B-40, the Cantina Mexicana is on
the south side of the highway.

exit at KL-Einsiedlerhof and go in the direction of Einsiedlerhof,
restaurant is on the right (second floor). From Ramstein AB, exit the
base via the east gate, go over the A-6 autobahn in the direction of
Einsiedlerhof, restaurant is on the right.

I tell you the food is over
the top, I had roasted chicken, bake mac and cheese, potato salad,
and my meal was served with corn bread...yummmm! The plate was really
big, the atmosphere is soo friendly and Mama cooks everything fresh,
the price was soo cheap. So if you are looking for goood southern
soul food, they are located at Ramstein Village. Bon Apetit!
